Service & Fellowship
Our Lord calls
us to a life of service to one another. This can happen
formally on Sunday mornings or informally over a cup of
coffee. Here are just a few of the groups at Faith that
offer opportunities to serve:
Altar
Guild
The Altar Guild cares for the sacred vessels and
paraments used in the Divine Service. They prepare the
sanctuary for service each week and for special holiday
services.
Diane
Osmanski, Director
Choir
Music has always held a central place in the worship of our
God. The choir leads our psalms and songs, especially for
festival services. The choir rehearses on Sundays at 11:15
AM.

Debbi
Hochgesang, Choir Director
Ladies' Aid
Our Ladies' Aid normally hosts a rummage sale in
late May and a bazaar in early November. This group
helps to support projects in our congregation and around the
world.
Lay
Readers
Historically, the reading of the scripture lessons has been
delegated to those who have the ability to read clearly and
distinctly for all to hear. If you are interested in
assisting as a lay reader, please contact the church office.
Men’s
Fellowship Breakfast
All
men are invited for breakfast at Jedi’s Restaurant in Oak
Lawn on the last Saturday of each month at 8:30
AM
for a time of prayer and fellowship. After breakfast the men
often work on service projects at the church.
Ushers
Ushers welcome guests and members to our church and assist
during the services. If you’d like to serve as an usher,
please contact
Rich Clark. |
