We
give food to those in need and do not discriminate
on the basis of ethnicity or religious background.
Food is
given only to residents of Worth Township who are
able to prove their residency.
Food is
distributed on the first and third Saturdays of
every month, from 9 to 10:30
AM.
Only
food and toiletries are distributed (no cash or gift
certificates).
Donations
We
receive donations from individuals and
organizations (scout troops, schools, churches,
etc.)
We
accept donations of nonperishable food and
personal toiletry items. To arrange for a
pickup, please call the the church at (708) 424-1059.
We
also accept donations of cash and gift
certificates to major grocery stores. This
allows us to buy in bulk and to supply more urgently
needed items.
Our
food pantry is staffed entirely by volunteers,
so every dollar donated is used to purchase food.
